I am a Certified Disciple Cross Builder for over 15 years. All of our crosses are made and or assembled in the USA  and are prayed over while in production. We want to be assured they will be warn or carried by the person God intended for them to go to. This is a new listing do to the new colors  being added the quantity sold has started a zero again. My Disciples Cross products  Are handcrafted and Assembled using Horseshoe Nails and Colored Artistic jewelry wire Wrapping. We first bend our nails into the shapes necessary to form the cross. (In some cases we actually pour the nails and are made perfect without having to be bent) The nails are then wrapped with beautiful colored copper wire to form a cross. The loops are formed in order to thread the cording through in order to make the lanyard. After completion, the finished cross is hand dipped in a polyurethane coating to keep the finished product from rusting in the elements.  Lastly, the cord is attached by threading through the loops at the top, then two slip knots are tied to allow the adjustment in sizing in overall lengths.
Key chains and zipper pulls are identically made allowing them to be able to have keys placed on them or the key band can be fed through the zipper in order have a way to utilize the item without changes.  The cord is tied to the key ring and wrapped with wire.
At length the necklaces are approximately 15-18 inches in length can be worn as a choker or full-length necklace the nails used are 3.0 nails which make the finished cross approx 1 1/2″ wide x 2 ” tall.

The Disciple’s Cross is made up of three distinct components. The leather cord reminds us of the leather straps used to beat our Savior; the wrapped wire stands for the thorn branches twisted into a crown to mock the King of Kings, and the nails represent the large spikes that were driven into the hands and feet of the Lord of Lords.     Matthew 16:24
